After the first big rainstorm of 2023 we went for a drive from Santa Paula to Ojai. Although you could still see the damage from the rains, road closures, mud, closed trails… we also saw how beautiful and green the rains left the landscape. We pulled over between Ojai and Santa Paula to take this picture at Black Mountain Ranch.
