Interview with Nao Takasugi about his family, discrimination as a Japanese American, and the beginning of his political career. Takasugi discusses Alien Land Law, internment camps of WWII and reparations, and the Asahi Market in Oxnard. Nao was mayor of Oxnard for 10 years and served in the California State Assembly for 6 years. He died in 2009.
