Description
Felipe Villa standing in a yard with son, Charlie, who appears to be a toddler. They are posing for the camera. Felipe wears a long sleeved collared shirt, tie, and hat, while Charlie wears a coat and hat.
From Library records: "Felipe Villa, my maternal grandfather's cousin: ("Papa Pancho" Francisco Villa) with his son Charlie (nickname Moyote). The lower class is great on nicknames--I was Sopitas, my brother Jim was Conejo (Rabbit). Felipe and his family lived on the east side--in El Campo where all the newly arrived Mexican lemon pickers lived. We lived there too. Felipe was a picking crew foreman and was instrumental in convincing Papa Pancho to move here from El Paso, Texas."
