Economic Development Collaborative Small Business Development Center (EDC SBDC) was recognized for its outstanding achievements in exports with the prestigious President’s “E” Award for Export Service on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. The President’s “E” Award symbolizes excellence in exporting and serves as the highest form of recognition bestowed upon individuals or entities in the United States for their significant contributions to the expansion of U.S. exports.

The Economic Development Collaborative (EDC) is committed to fostering a strong and healthy Ventura and Santa Barbara regional economy with a high quality of life and broadly shared opportunities. The nonprofit was founded in 1996 with funding from the County of Ventura, the 10 cities in the county and key private-sector companies. EDC has become a key player in delivering business consulting, funding and strategic initiatives that support the regional economy and business owners across the greater Central Coast.
