My wife and I discovered this field of poppies after a large orange patch caught my eye to the north of the 118 freeway. We hiked in from Oak County Park and eventually found it. I love our State Flower!

I was working at a store in the Ventura Harbor one day during a rainstorm. Shortly after the storm passed, a beautiful rainbow appeared over the Harbor. Truly beautiful!
