<text>Ventura County 150 Memories (VC150 Memories) is a project organized by the County of Ventura and the Museum of Ventura County to collect memories from residents across the county.

VC 150 Memories is a celebration of the people, places, and events that make Ventura County such a unique and special place to live. Think of it as a Community Photo Album where every person in the county can create a section of the album by using Tags to categorize their photos.

As the project grows, shared experiences will emerge. Residents will have the opportunity to see their connections with others. The entire collection is archived at the Museum of Ventura County so that future generations will be able to look back through the “photo album” of the people in Ventura County in 2023. </text>

This photo is special as it shows what California Coastal Horse Rescue's Learn, Care & Share program is all about. The Rescue, as part of its commitment to Humane Education, offers the Learn, Care & Share program to local schools and groups. The goal of the program is to introduce young people to animals so that they might develop a strong sense of empathy and responsibility. This picture shows a group of kids, with CCHR volunteers, learning how to be around horses through helping to groom and take care of them. The horse pictured, Melody, loves the attention! (Melody has since been adopted by a wonderful family).</text>
